Happy Father's Day! Our Journey Through John brings us to chapter 8 beginning at verse 12. Pastor Brian teaches what we can learn about fatherhood from the Ultimate Father. 

This week was a busy morning at Community Church! Pastor Floyd gave a great teaching on John chapter 7 verses 53 through chapter 8 verse 11. This is the story of the woman caught in adultery. After his sermon Pastor Brian gave some updates on exciting things happening at Community Church! 

Our Journey Through John brings us to the end of chapter 7. 

We continue our Journey Through John with a passage where many people are trying to figure out who Jesus really is. Jesus makes some big claims that throw their idea of who they think the Messiah will be on it's head! 

This week in our Journey Through John we finish chapter 6 where Jesus says some thing that actually cause a lot of his followers to turn away and no long follow Him. What did he say? Take a listen and find out! 

Mature Content Warning  Each year our Justice Task Force hosts the EMPOWER Banquet to educate and push back against poverty, abuse, and human trafficking both locally and internationally. This year's keynote address by Christina Rangel of United Justice was especially impactful, and we wanted to make it available to a broader audience through this podcast.  The topic of sex trafficking and prostitution is discussed in detail, please use discrection sharing with a younger audience. 

This week on our Journey Through John we continue with chapter 6. Jesus tries to tell the crowds that they have needs that are not only material but physical. 

This week at Community Church we jump back into our Journey Through John with chapter 6 when Jesus and his disciples feed a crowd of 5,000. What does it really look like when we serve Jesus? 

This week at Community Church we had our Empower Banquet put on by our Justice Task Force. The purpose of the Empower Banquet is to highlight both local and global organizations that work to right injustices in the world and our communities. This weeks podcast includes a short interview with Christina Rangel, the executive director and founder of United Justice, a non-profit organization working to end human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in Latin America. Jill Robbins gives a message on God's heart for justice.
