Our second week of Advent focuses on John the Baptist's message from Luke 3:1-6. John has a message of evangelism delivered in the spirit of Christ; a message about repentance and preparing one's heart to receive the coming of the Lord.

Pastor Stephen preaches on Jeremiah 33:14-16 and the hope which God presents to us at Christmas. The invitation of God to a new life is extended to all through Jesus Christ and we, as bearers of the Spirit, are an extension of that hope to the world.

Pastor Stephen ends our series on "A Child of Promise" by summing up what we have learned as well as discussing what it means to hold on to hope. Psalm 89 reminds us that to hope is to trust that God has a brighter tomorrow in store for us. As we enter a season of Advent, let us keep on hoping and waiting on God.
