Often times when we pray, we pray that God will do something for us, and we may even believe He will! Though God can eventually answer our prayers, He is also capable of doing it right now. He also never leaves us, so even when we think we are alone, or far off from God, He is near. We just need to believe that He is capable, willing, and true.

"The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences." Proverbs 18:21 NLT. Pastor Matt explains how what we choose to say can greatly effect how our life goes, and reminds us that serving God is a black and white thing. We have to choose to serve Him and speak life into our lives and the lives of those around us.

Many of us live our lives walking bound when "he who the Son set free is free indeed." Pastor Matt reminds us that freedom is a gift that was given to us when we chose to walk with Christ, we just have to choose to walk in it.

Letting your light shine doesn't always mean going half way across the ocean to minister to people in need. It also doesn't mean that you need to preach to everyone you come in contact with. Guest speaker John Coehler reminds us that how we live our life should be a reflection of our relationship with Christ.

Sometimes we make bad decisions, or end up in situations that are really bad. Some of us even have bad starts to life and are trying to make it out of impossible situations. Pastor Matt encourages us by reminding us that God can bring us out on top in situations where we "shouldn't have."

To get somewhere new, we have to leave behind where we once were, but we don't always get to where we want to be as quickly as we thought we would. Pastor Matt talks about life between where we were and where we want to be. He reminds us that it takes faith to press through, and that the reward on the other side is always worth the "Between."

Pastor Matt continues to walk through the differences between a visitor and a resident and shows us that more than anything the Lord wants to enter our lives and reside and help us through life. It is up to us to let Him in.

In the book of Joshua, the Israelites shouted and the walls of Jericho came tumbling down. Pastor Matt reminds us that before that shout ever come, they marched for six days! They didn't see the wall fall for six days, but they were right where God wanted them the whole time.

When we're hungry for the Lord, what do we do? In the book of Matthew, a crowd of people ran around a lake to get to Him! Pastor Matt shows us that when we're really hungry, we will do whatever it takes to get to Jesus. While we're there, God will give us an abundance, then we get to decide if we keep it, or pour into the lives of those around us.
