  • Sunday Night Live #15 | Drone Dominance Gauntlet Breakdown, XTEND ($XTND) and AUSA Prep

Benny and JT from The Zero Hour Group are back for Sunday Night Live #15, one week out from AUSA in Washington, DC. They preview the Association of the United States Army exposition (October 12 to 14, with more than 750 exhibitors and a new outdoor Ukrainian Defense Tech Pavilion), the companies they most want to see, and Benny's plan to catch up with Ondas (ONDS) first. They also touch on XTEND (XTND), a newly public company Benny and JT are considering adding to the covered list, and Powerus (PUSA), which completed its merger and rang the Nasdaq opening bell.

Then a look ahead at this week's content. Benny previews the deep dive interview with Exyn Technologies (EXYN) CEO & COO Ben Williams, which lands as shorts plus a 30 minute clip: software first autonomy that is drone agnostic, mapping underground mines and flying through dust and smoke. Benny also teases an upcoming interview about 3D printed drones with an HP team. A few clips fought back on the live stream, so apologies for the buffering.

The main segment is a Drone Dominance overview. JT reads through the Department of War's $1 billion program to buy more than 200,000 small drones by 2027, how it is run by the Test Resource Management Center and the Defense Innovation Unit with Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane holding contracting authority, and why scaling production and NDAA compliant parts is the hard part. Benny and JT go through the Gauntlet II leaderboard: Neros on top of close quarters battle, ahead of ORQA US and XTEND, plus Skycutter's Gauntlet I showing, the Ondas and Rift Dynamics Wasp, Red Cat, and what Gauntlet III could mean for private companies that need a partner to scale.

After that, JT opens Trader Matrix for Friday's options flow by sector, shares his take on extended hours options trading and his read on a market near extreme fear, and walks through an unusual options activity alert on Schrodinger (SDGR). Benny closes with private company news: Performance Drone Works' conditional loan commitment from the Office of Strategic Capital, and Bavovna.AI, a Ukrainian navigation software company building the Carolina DroneHub in the Carolinas. JT wraps with a look at Sunday night futures.

  • Sunday Night Live #14 | The Investor Who Found Ondas ($ONDS) Early Makes His BlackSky ($BKSY) Case

Benny and JT from The Zero Hour Group welcome Lorenzo to Sunday Night Live. He's the Phoenix investor who first put Ondas (ONDS) on Benny's radar back in late 2024, with a video of the Iron Drone Raider netting a rogue drone out of the sky. Lorenzo walks through the Palantir map he keeps on his wall, why Ondas and BlackSky (BKSY) are his biggest positions, and why border security tech matters to him personally.

BlackSky gets the full treatment: its Gen-3 satellites, Q2 revenue up 50% with international space based intelligence revenue up 150%, a $100 million annual run rate for its imagery and AI subscription services, and a thumbs up from a retired Space Force colonel Benny knows. JT maps the chart and lays out when he thinks the defense sector bear market turns. We also look at Surf Air Mobility (SRFM) and its Palantir partnership, Infleqtion (INFQ), York Space Systems (YSS) and its Colorado Rockies jersey patch, and Sidus Space (SIDU).

Then a hard look at Red Cat (RCAT): CEO Jeff Thompson's recent comments on Eric Brock and Ondas, the Blue Ops unmanned boat push, JT's question about manufacturing at scale, and Benny's plan to catch Red Cat at AUSA. Lorenzo shares how his Ondas gains turned into a comic book business, JT and Benny debate crypto and BitMine (BMNR), and everyone brings a setup for the week: JT on Rocket Lab (RKLB) and his short term bear case on Palantir (PLTR), Lorenzo on MIRA Pharmaceuticals (MIRA) and Infleqtion, and Benny's two for Kopin (KOPN) and Powerus, which is set to go public through its merger with Aureus Greenway Holdings (PUSA). Listener questions cover Surf Air, One Stop Systems (OSS) and LightPath (LPTH), and we close on Ondas subsidiary Sentrycs protecting Jacksonville Jaguars home games and why air bases need layered drone defense.

  • Sunday Night Live #13 | Billionaire Phillip Frost Buys Into Safe Pro, Kopin and Ondas Setups

Benny and JT from The Zero Hour Group are live for Sunday Night Live as futures open green across the board: the S&P, Dow, Nasdaq, small caps and Bitcoin are all up, with gold, the VIX and crude slightly lower. With the Fed decision out of the way and rates up, the next big macro hurdle is the midterm elections about a month out, and JT lays out why he thinks the market finds a bottom in October.

We also break down the week ahead in the markets: GrabAGun (PEW) as a midterm trade idea, what a Democratic sweep could mean for stocks, why second term presidents tend to turn toward foreign policy, a market looking for direction now that the Fed has dropped forward guidance, diesel prices outpacing gasoline, and President Trump's address to the UN.

Plus billionaire Dr. Phillip Frost buying 1 million restricted shares of Safe Pro Group (SPAI) at $4 directly from CEO Daniyel Erdberg, with a right to buy 1 million more at $6, and why the team reads it as a vote of confidence. Then chart levels across the watchlist: Unusual Machines (UMAC) riding its 200 day moving average, Drone Nerds parent XTI Aerospace (XTIA), newly listed XTEND (XTND) after its Drone Dominance Gauntlet showing, Ondas (ONDS) key levels and short interest, Amprius (AMPX) and LightPath (LPTH) under $10, the Kopin (KOPN) optical interconnect thesis with JT's cash secured put plan and Benny's LEAPS, and Lantronix (LTRX) edge compute from the Commercial UAV Expo floor. Off the usual radar: Alvotech (ALVO), Recursion (RXRX), Sidus Space (SIDU) and Planet Labs (PL). Listener Q&A covers the defense budget, Golden Dome and Ukraine's long range drone campaign.

Zero Hour Today is expanding to three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), with a special contributor joining from an international location this week. The team will also be at AUSA in Washington, DC from October 12 to 14.

  • Sunday Night Live #12 | AI Fears Shake Market: Tech Futures Slide as Oil Risk Builds

Benny and JT from The Zero Hour Group are back for Sunday Night Live, with JT just off a no-phones canoe trip in the Boundary Waters. AI jitters had tech futures down about a percent heading into the week and markets are pricing in a Fed rate hike, so there was plenty to sort through.

We also break down the week ahead in the markets: talk that Elon Musk, Sam Altman and Anthropic's CEO now agree AI needs to slow down and why that has the market nervous, Oracle and the big AI names sliding while drone small caps hold up, CME FedWatch odds of a rate hike near 86% after a hot CPI print, and oil supply risk as the Houthis push along Yemen's coast and threaten Saudi Arabia's east-west pipeline.

Plus Volatus Aerospace landing Canadian defence drone work, including a tactical ISR contract worth up to CAD $25 million, Draganfly's piece of the same initial order, XTI Aerospace and Drone Nerds as the DJI ban debate plays out, JT's put ideas on stretched AI names like Micron, Nvidia and Dell into the rate decision, listener questions on KOPN, SPAI and T1 Energy, the case for energy ETFs like XLE, and why Ondas short interest near 44% has the team staying patient.

  • Sunday Night Live Special | Labor Day Edition: This Week's Trade Plan

A surprise Labor Day night stream to set up the trading week. With Sunday Night Live bumped to Monday, Benny and JT go live as futures open close to flat, with the Nasdaq slightly red and the S&P down 0.25 percent. JT lays out why he is conflicted heading into the fall: memory and tech ripped on Friday, but inflation, a contested rate decision, and the midterms keep the macro headwinds front and center.

We break down the week's trade plan: the GrabAGun (PEW) midterm thesis, Google approaching a key support zone near $330, Trader Matrix levels that now import straight into TradingView, the options levels on SpaceX, and the space setups JT likes in Rocket Lab (RKLB), AST SpaceMobile (ASTS), and RDW as the picks and shovels play. Then the rate decision, with the market pricing roughly a 60 percent chance of a hike against 40 percent for a hold, and why a surprise hold could send gold flying.

Plus Benny's notes from Commercial UAV Expo: the Drone Nerds exhibit, a conversation with interim CEO Jeremy Schneiderman, and why the XTI Aerospace (XTIA) pivot to drone retail has our attention. We tease our Lantronix (LTRX) CEO interview, check Lantronix support near $5, talk through the $1.5 trillion defense budget request and bipartisan support for drones and counter-UAS, and take viewer picks on Coherent, Nutrien (NTR), LightPath (LPTH), and Palantir (PLTR).

  • Sunday Night Live #11 | Commercial UAV Expo Recap Ft. Guest Host Ryan of LP Options Academy

Benny of The Zero Hour Group hosts Sunday Night Live with guest host Ryan of LP Options Academy while JT is on vacation. Benny spent the week at the Commercial UAV Expo at Caesars in Las Vegas, one of the biggest drone shows in the country with well over 250 exhibitors, and brings back floor footage and the people he met.

We also break down the week ahead in the markets: Ryan's call that the Fed holds rates at the FOMC meeting on the 16th (he put $5 on it through event contracts in his brokerage), a slow, choppy grind higher with the VIX staying suppressed, his zero-day S&P trades while opportunities are thin, and ceasefire headlines after Witkoff and Kushner's trip to Moscow and Ukraine.

Plus a tour of the Drone Nerds booth (XTI Aerospace) with mapping, agricultural, delivery and pressure-washing drones and the DBOX drone in a box for drone as first responder programs, Tundra Drones on modular payloads for Parrot drones, the Drone Fight Group VR shotgun simulator that casino security shut down, Women and Drones CEO Sharon Rossmark's book Future Flight and Dr. LaQuanda Sumpter's Droneology guide for middle schoolers, the Lantronix booth, and a 3D printed coaxial drone built with HP.

  • Sunday Night Live #10 | How This Investor Turned $150K Into $625K Ft. Legitimate Risk

The Zero Hour Group welcomes Legitimate Risk, a Ukrainian-born software engineer turned investor who grew $150,000 into more than $625,000 in three years buying shares only, with no options and no leverage. He started investing in 2023 after meeting a mentor at a party, and talks about how a serious car accident and a long recovery led him to start writing about markets on After Hour. For viewers who stick to shares, his rules-based process is worth the watch.

We also break down the week ahead in the markets: why Legitimate Risk thinks the end of pattern day trading rules has made price action choppier, how he treats political shocks as a chance to buy quality companies at a discount while keeping cash on hand, why software has stayed resilient while other tech gets hit, and the volatility coming out of energy markets and the Gulf.

Plus his poker approach to probabilities and position sizing, how he spent four months training a ChatGPT assistant to screen 100 companies against 40 to 50 factors before he picks the winners himself, why he averages up into winners and rarely averages down, how he moved money from MSTY into ONDS, listener questions on Richtech Robotics and SLS, his advice for new investors starting small, and Benny's recap of the Safe Pro Group demo in Florida ahead of the Commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas.

Find Legitimate Risk on Substack, After Hour and X.

  • Sunday Night Live #9 | The U.S. Government Is Investing in Drone Companies?

JT of The Zero Hour Group runs this Sunday Night Live solo while Benny flies to Miami for the Safe Pro Group tech demo. The big question this week: after the first White House drone dominance meeting, which drone companies could land government investment, and could any of them be public?

We also break down the week ahead in the markets: sector flows showing money moving into healthcare, energy and materials and out of tech, industrials and utilities, the crypto rally and why MSTR lagging Bitcoin is a red flag for JT, options flow on names like HOOD, MRNA, MU and WMT, and the extra volatility JT expects heading into the midterms.

Plus part one of our interview with Kopin CEO Michael Murray from the Boston tech demo on the company's microLED production and optical interconnect plans, JT's read on who could benefit from government drone investment (UMAC and AVAV top his list), why Robinhood is his favorite setup for the next few months, levels on SPAI, KOPN, BMNR, PLTR and UMAC, and viewer requests on SLS, APP, IMSR, OPTT and Kraken Robotics.

  • Sunday Night Live #8 | $SPAI Up 37% and $UMAC Up 25% to End the Week

Benny and JT from The Zero Hour Group take a victory lap after Friday's rally across the companies they cover: SPAI closed up 37% after trading more than 50% higher at its peak, UMAC gained 25%, LightPath 15% and Kopin 13.7%. No guest tonight, just a walk through the watch list after a busy stretch of earnings.

We also break down the week ahead in the markets: Safe Pro Group's roughly 1,300% year-over-year growth and its buyback of nearly 700,000 shares, Ondas earnings with a $750 million backlog, raised guidance and new customers in Japan and Thailand, the drone dominance push to build U.S. supply chains after years of Chinese dominance in drones, and why JT expects pullbacks after moves this big.

Plus JT's trade plans and levels on ONDS, UMAC, SPAI, LightPath, Amprius and Lantronix, whether Unusual Machines and Performance Drone Works really compete, Powerus after SEC approval of its S-4, a viewer-flagged report on the UK banning drone suppliers over parts that pinged Chinese servers, a talk on FOMO and patience, Benny's Kopin thesis and what CEO Michael Murray said about building other companies' optical interconnect designs, and viewer picks ZenaTech and POET.

JT of The Zero Hour Group flies solo on this Sunday Night Live, working through trade setups, stocks to watch, and upcoming earnings plays while Benny heads to Boston for an on-site visit at Kopin. It's a loaded earnings week for the names we cover, with Kopin reporting Monday after the bell and Ondas on Thursday.

We also break down the week ahead in the markets: what Kopin and Ondas could deliver on their earnings calls, Palantir's blowout quarter and how much room is left after the run, the macro tailwinds from a potential end to the Iran conflict with rate hikes off the table for the next meeting, why memory is today's AI bottleneck with energy and nuclear up next, and the space names rebuilding after the post-SpaceX IPO sell-off.

Plus chart levels and price targets on Ondas, UMAC, Safe Pro Group, Surf Air Mobility, Rocket Lab, Powerus, Palantir, LightPath, Amprius, DRAM, Lantronix, Kopin, AeroVironment, AST SpaceMobile, and Redwire, viewer picks including Micron, Intel, Constellation Energy, T1 Energy, Aehr Test Systems, and POET, JT's playbook for selling cash-secured puts after an earnings drop instead of gambling on the print, and a Trader Daddy walkthrough of gamma flip levels, call and put walls, and unusual options activity.
