SUNDAY NIGHT’S MAIN EVENT - THE HUB

Greg is back this week after being medically cleared since last week’s show. After spending last Friday Night in a local medical facility (true story), both SmackDaddies are back this week to review this week’s show.

We start with Bianca Belair, and Greg is looking for a drink already.

Then, in what Greg feels is a post-narcotic inspired haze gets a Naomi, Jade Cargill and Nia Jax in a match.

We got R-Truth in the back with Solo Sikoa’s “husky son” Jeff Cobb Mateo, leading to a match between JC and Ron Truth.

SmackDown’s plethora of Tag Teams show up and with no Teddy Long in sight a fight broke out with no match.

We then got  Los Garza taking on Je'Von Evans & Rey Fenix. I’m still not sure why besides to have Ethan Page be there.

Zelina Vega takes on Alba Fyre where Brad questions as to what two reasons she’s the US Champion.

In our Money In The Bank Qualifying Triple Threat, Brad and Greg are rocking and sobbing in the corner while we get match 800 of  Andrade and Carmelo Hayes…. Oh and Jacob Fatu is there.

And in our Main Event Segment, we got to Yeet, We got to Woah, We can’t see things and drink some PRIME as the four members of the Champion Tag Match at MITB show up… and we find out that Logan Paul is apparently heading to the back to Polish John Cena’s Punisher.

So you are telling us you missed AEW Double or Nothing 2025? Never threaten, your bang bang gang is here to review what they call the second-best AEW PPV of All Time!

Ashlee and Shawn open this week's episode of the Dynamite Drop by reviewing AEW's latest PPV, while they agree with about 90 percent of the show, Shawn has had his fill of the Anarchy in the Arena match. Please make the music stop!

They agree that the Open and Closing Matches of the show are in the running for match of the year. You can pick between Timeless Toni Storm vs Mercedes Mone, or Will Ospreay vs Hangman Adam Page, but don't sleep on Speedball Mike Bailey vs Okada!

Coming out of the pay pre-view, this week's episode of Dynamite opens and closes with great promo segments that get us rolling towards AEW All In Texas, which is 7 weeks away!

It also features—check my notes—a TNT title match between Adam Cole Bay Bay! and Kyle Fletcher. Why wasn't this on the PPV instead of that trio's match?

A kick ass Brody King vs Josh Alexander match to see who gets a chance in a four way match next week against  Kenny Omega

Brad’s ridin’ solo this week while Greg’s on special assignment, and he’s keepin’ it short and sweet with a special birthday edition of the pod. The Wyatt Sicks crash the tag division, Giulia and LA Knight punch their tickets to MITB, and Candice helps Ciampa get a dirty dub. R-Truth drops a heartfelt promo ahead of his clash with Cena, and the women’s title scene heats up with Tiffany, Bliss, and Flair all in the mix.

Throw those Guns Up! Bob from HR had our crack music team give us a new intro in time for our Double or Nothing 2025 Preview! Thanks, Bob, for ensuring our music team didn't Def Rebel us!

But first, Ashlee and Shawn discuss a double set AEW show for Albuquerque, New Mexico! We are pretty sure the second least popular location for the Hurt Syndicate to be at, but hey, they get paid to be there, and the fans pay them to be there. lol

Ashlee and Shawn are pleasantly surprised that MJF becoming a member of the Hurt Syndicate didn't end with him going through a table!

They think both Dynamite and Collision's opening segments are must-watches! Ashlee and Shawn want to remind FTR that Nigel was once the dirtiest pro wrestler in ROH history.

Lastly, Ashlee and Shawn break down a 10-match Double or Nothing Card and remind our American listeners that this AEW PPV will not be on ThillerTV.

It's Ashlee and Shawn's birthday week, so they are ready to hug people, just not Bob!

They open this week's show discussing Mr. Jim Ross's Cancer announcement and wish him a speedy recovery.

They pay their respects to Sabu, who passed away this past week.

Ashlee and Shawn are pleased that Hangman and Ospreay could coexist; now, they want them to stay a tag team!

Once again, Hurt Syndicate and MJF steal the show, and finally, MJF gets Bob's approval! Ashlee and Shawn are worried that this new pairing won't become Facebook official, due to MJF hugging Bob. For the love of god, don't hug Bob!

Zach Gowen impressed Ashlee and Shawn, and good old Shawn has a list of Zach Gowen matches that he wants to see in AEW.

The Main Event lived up to the hype as Samoa Joe and John Moxley gave us violence in the cage, and we are here for the violence! But wait! Why is Gabe Kid helping the Death Riders? This and more on today's show, powered by The Hub Sports and Entertainment Network.
