SUNDAY NIGHT’S MAIN EVENT - THE HUB

Greg’s away, so Maddie jumps into the co-host chair for her birthday—and yes, she cracks her very first alcoholic beverage on air. We “watch” what might be a pretty good SmackDown, but honestly? We mostly talk over it, tell jokes, derail the plot, and forget to take notes. Was the show good? Maybe. Was the podcast fun? Absolutely. And if you don’t like this episode… well, there are plenty of other podcasts out there.

It was a packed episode tonight on Raw and todays episode of Draw Straws is Packed and spiced up with a guest, Jesse Quenneville! A former Call of Duty broadcaster and commentator mainly following College COD and The COD Challengers scene (which is directly under The COD Pro League) but he had always had a side passion of Professional Wrestling! He maybe a Cruzinspaz online, but he's just Jesse to Randy ( cause he is a New England Patriot fan). He is gonna give his opinions tonight of WWE RAW from Madison Square Gardens in New York! They talk about;

THIS and much, MUCH MORE!

Just watch the Jays Game. The only thing you really need to watch is Jade turning heel. And Brad naming this Adopt a Luchadore Week in WWE.

Let’s go Ice Caps, I mean Blue Jays.

With half the WWE crew still overseas, SmackDown returns to North America by landing in San Jose.

Cody is in mourning or something to start the show.

The WWE Women’s Tag Championships were on the line when Alexa/Charlotte took on Zolruca, with Blake Monroe sat at ringside causing some interactions.

The US Open Challenge is back with Sami taking on Ilja Dragunov returning from a year of injury. We were repeatedly told he was hungry or starving, like WWE didn’t pay him while he was injured or something… Not like that’s ever happened.

The men’s tag division resurfaces with the Motor City Machine Guns (celebrating their 1 year in WWE) taking on Los Garza.

And our main event, was the Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre number one contenders match that didn’t happen. Jacob is in the back and appears to have had Danhausen come by, or Isacc Yankem. So we get Drew and Cody brawling and a “match”. The best part of this match was Cody losing his shoe.

I skipped recapping MFT in all the above because I’m sick of them. Plus a surprise at the end

The 2025 Crown Jewel Premium Live Event took us Down Under for one of the most action-packed WWE shows of the year. With five huge matches on the card — including the crowning of both the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Champions, the fifth stop on John Cena’s farewell tour, and a brutal Australian Street Fight between Bronson Reed and Roman Reigns — this show delivered in every way.

Join Eric B from Draw Straws Raw and Brad the Dad from The SmackDaddies as they break down every match, every moment, and why this event might just be a contender for PLE of the year.

But… there’s one problem: we’ve got commercials now.

Aussie Aussie Aussie!

We come to you from a land down under, and in the future frankly, to bring you this SmackDown show that hasn’t aired yet in some places…

Crown Jewel is tomorrow, and we’re here to get you ready.

We start with an opening segment of Cody and the Crowd.

Backstage Chelsea tries to recruit Stephanie Vaquer to the Secret Hervice.

Jacob Fatu also confronts Cody Rhodes backstage. After he leaves, Drew McIntyre attacks Fatu.

Our open challenge is answered by a face? Shinsuke Nakamura, and his previous theme song. It ends in a DQ after Tama Tonga attacks Nakamura. The rest of Solo’s crew takes out Sami/Shin.

Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer take on Giulia and Kiana James. You’ll never guess who takes the pin in this.

The crowd eats up the Wyatt Sicks and Street Profit match, and post match more samoan interactions.

And Alesiter Black and Damian Priest have a great Last Man Standing match. Overall a surprisingly great show heading into a PLE.
