A Rescued Man's Job Description

In this passage, Paul shares a deeply personal reflection near the end of his life. He offers Timothy a model of faithful endurance, contrasts loyal and disloyal companions, and requests help in his final days. Paul's life was poured out like a drink offering, and yet his soul still longed for Scripture, fellowship, warmth, and gospel service.

We reviewed chapters one and two, looking at the difficult task the Lord required of Jonah and Jonah's subsequent disobedience, punishment, repentance, and second chance! Then, in chapter three, we saw that God crafts the message, ensures that his message is delivered, prepares hearts to receive that message, and forgives when people respond!
