The last installment on the topic of Cain. This one focuses on some outside the box views of the story. We get into some Midrash, which is probably new to you so enjoy. We also delve into the topic of the Mark of Cain, which I bet you have heard a story on and never one like the way we see it here!
This is the second in a three part series on Cain. In this episode we go full into the story and its ripple effects throughout scripture and history. This effect gets a call back from so many biblicaly stories and I am just seeing it this year. I'd like to invite you along with me.
Cain, why are you crestfallen?? LIFT UP!!
Walking snakes? Trees with Knowledge? Sibling rivalry? In this episode we explore Adam and Eve, the trees in the garden, Cain and Abel and more. If there is one topic that needs some serious Sunday School clarity, it is this one. Everything pings back to the first 50 pages of scripture and paints a mosaic of one amazing story that gets us to our Savior. The bible is amazing....you should read the bible.

This is a short addendum to the series. There were a few loose ends that I needed to put a bow on for you. Just a few topics that I didn't feel like I did justice for in the first two. Hope you enjoyed the topic
We continue our discussion on the Judges scroll and try to finish our focus on Samson. We get the most famous stories of him in the episode and I introduce a new way to think about them.

Trying to figure out what you are supposed to do with this life can be a struggle. The great news is that this struggle is nothing new under the sun. As we dig in to the famous bibilical character, you will soon see how there is much more to this story than super human strength. Samson's struggle is our struggle. I invite you to come grapple with it with me.

The finale! I'm coming after you on this one, and so is Yahweh. The forgotten chapter of Jonah hits different. The bible is crazy and here is a great example of that. Buckle up
our great prophet has been vomited up onto dry land and is finally ready to be the mouthpiece of God to a rebellious nation. Good luck, Jonah
This episode is a little preachy, but so be it. It's a beautiful prayer in a tough spot. Like the Lord's Prayer. Please don't test me, but if you do...save me. Time's up, Jonah
I take it past the first sentence of the book and we dive into the full reading of Jonah 1. His thoughts and struggles are so relatable in today's time that it is scary. I am pretty hard on Jonah in this episode, but hang with me. God is working through this story in a way you never saw before

My goal is to take the Sunday School lessons of your youth, and look at them through the lense of today. If you read the bible or a devotional book to get a spiritual buzz, the buzzes get better…
