We combined the texts from Ash Wednesday and the 1st Sunday in Lent, so that everyone could participate in the liturgy of the ashes on Sunday morning. Link to Brad and Megan's worship services.

We begin the Season of Lent with two texts that talk about thoughts, words, and actions.

Jesus takes select disciples up a high mountain and they witness something they could have never imagined.

After healing a man in the synagogue, Jesus travels to the family of his disciples. He heals again and the entire villiage hears about it. 

Jesus teaches in a way that people have never heard and he heals a broken moment for everyone.

Jesus has complete authority when discussing the ancient text and his actions following the lesson grant him even more acclaim from the people

Jesus calls four new followers, calling them to see the world through an entirely new lens. 

Jesus travels to the Sea of Galilee to call his first disciples.
