We compare two different texts that depict two entirely different callings. The primary task of both is to be a blessing to the people around them. 

In the last story that the author of the Gospel of Matthew shared, Jesus blesses the people and sends them forth to serve in his name.

While back home in Galilee one last time, Jesus gathers the disciples on a mountain and shares his vision for what they must do.
