John 18:12-32 shows us two distinct pictures.  One of a fearless and righteous Savior facing down the powers of the world for our salvation. Jesus encourages us to take heart because he has overcome the world!

In John 16:5-15, Jesus promises that his departure from earth, which results in the sending of the Holy Spirit is better for the believer.  How can this be so?

If we are going to be hated and mistreated by those who are outside the church, how should we respond to this persecution? Join us as Paul and Pastor Matt explore this issue.

Jesus warns his disciples not to expect that life will be easy, instead he informs us that we should expect to be hated as he was hated.  This is due to the fact that we are no longer citizens of this world and this change in citizenship creates some uncomfortable situations for the believer as we live as ambassadors for Christ on foreign soil.

In John 15:1-17 Jesus claims to be the True Vine and that we are his branches.  To be a fruitful branch we must abide in Christ and we must be subject to the pruning of the Vinedresser.  Enjoy!
