A pastor has a special love for his congregation.  In times of trouble, a pastor agonizes for his people.

This week we focus on the gospel.  The gospel is the central claim of Christianity, and it is so simple: Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead.  Yet, we always want to add or take away from it.  Why is that and what can we do to prevent this?

In week one of our study in Galatians called "Fully Free" we examine the authority by which Paul wrote to the Galatians.  We also discover that the same authority that Paul is claiming is present today.

Pastor Matt examines the end of the Noah narrative. In this passage, we see how wickedness led to dire consequences for one of his sons.  Also, we see how righteousness led to a blessing for his other sons.  Today we can choose to live a life of wickedness and invite the judgment of God, or we can choose to live righteous lives and be blessed by the Lord.  The choice is yours and it is available daily.

Some may think, after the flood, that God has a low view of human life.  However, as we see in Genesis 9:1-17, God actually values human life exceedingly high.  Due to this, God commands us to place a high value on life as well.

Pastor Matt Higginbotham explores Genesis 6. In this passage, we witness the total depravity of mankind and the grief that sin causes on our Creator God. We learn that the only escape from the judgment of God is found in the grace of God.

Join us as we examine Genesis 5.  This passage is a genealogy from Adam to Noah.  Oftentimes overlooked, genealogies offer insights into what sort of lives are noteworthy.  In this passage, we examine the continuing effects of the curse and the hope that one day it might be removed.

In this week's sermon, we examine Genesis 4.  Mankind begins life outside the garden and quickly falls deeper into depravity.  Jealousy rears its ugly head and death follows.  Yet, even after a horrible sin has been done, God's grace is evident.
