The resurrection is the only explanation for one of history’s greatest mysteries. Once you’ve concluded Jesus rose from the grave, why wouldn’t you take hold of the resurrection and the life?

Self control is Spirit enabled mastery over what is trying to master you and discipline is how that mastery is developed.

(1) Is there an area in your life that you feel is out of control?

(2) Regarding that area, where you do you find yourself consistently giving in?

(3) What discipline do you need to put in place to begin training your flesh? 

Gentleness preserves what we treasure most. 

Where in your life right now is God inviting you to replace harshness with gentleness?

Being counted on to show up every time for the people and in the places God has given us, is proof we’re actively following Jesus 

 (1) Are you someone who can be counted on to show up every time for the people and in the places God has given you? (2) What fruit are you bringing to those people and places when you show up? 

Goodness is the proof because Jesus is 

Is Goodness being produced in your life? 

Choosing words and actions that benefit others is proof we’re actively following Jesus 

How am I currently doing at choosing words and actions that benefit the people God put in my path? 

Patience is proof of humility before God and with others

Who am I being impatient with, and what is that proving?

The fruit of peace is proof of a mind consumed with the God of peace

What is the presence or absence of peace in my life proving?

The fruit of joy is proof of surrender

What is my joy, or lack of joy, proving?

The fruit of love is the primary proof of following Jesus.

What is the way I’m loving, proving?
