Sunday Sermons

Main Point: "Seek righteousness in a way that it shapes our identity and becomes what others see."

Memory Verse: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." – Matthew 6:33 (NIV)

Series Description: The Bible tells us we have an enemy who "prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." Which is why we find it hard to pursue Jesus, and the life He desires for us; why we are continually tempted by things we know will destroy our lives. But the same verse in the Bible also calls us to "resist him"; to resist his temptations; to stand firm; to fight back. That's an inspiring thought, but what does fighting evil really look like in our daily lives?

Main Point: "Truth is not a belief, intellectual pursuit, rationale, or theory. Truth is a person."

Memory Verse: "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." – John 8:32 (ESV)

Main Point: "You are being attacked everyday, so you need to prepare yourself for battle everyday."

– Ephesians 6:11 (NIV)
