A few weeks ago I sought after God for two narratives in the Bible that demonstrated the past, present, and future aspects of faith. I wanted one from the Old Testament and one from the New. Last week we looked at the Old Testament account and this week we look at the New Testament one. It is a wonderful depiction of what happened before, what was going on now, and what would happen though as yet unseen. This is a healing account and will greatly help when you are believing God to receiving something but have no outward evidence anything has happened when the Word spoken to us is heard.
