There are hundreds of thousands of churches in America, so why plant another?  The answer might surprise you as we hear from Tim Cole from Waypoint Church Partners.

Christians say that they love people, but when everyone in the church looks the same or doesn't represent the diversity of their area, there is a BIG PROBLEM. When we don't welcome or advocate for those different from us, the Church will never reflect what God desires heaven to look like.

If you follow Jesus, you have heard the Good News... but are we really living like we know it's GOOD?

When the glory of God has departed in our lives, we have two options. If we are to become what we were created to be, we need to repent of our brainless exchange (Romans 1:22) and recognize the glory we have been desperately missing: the glory of Jesus who is the perfect image of God (Col. 1:15).

When we make Jesus our king and place our trust and allegiance in him, the Holy Spirit begins to reshape us to our original created glory.

So, which will it be… continuing to worship idols which disappoint (money, sex, and power) or bowing the knee to Jesus?

Will you open your eyes to the glory of Jesus or settle for stupid shadows?

Because of Jesus’ death, sin no longer rules us. Because of Jesus’ resurrection, death no longer terrifies us. We have the best news imaginable: Jesus is king!

Jesus’ last words become our missional priority as we seek to love others and help them to become disciples and grow to be more and more like Jesus.

The transformative power of the God’s Spirit works through disciples of Jesus in a church community focused on relationships that help people to be disciples and to make disciples.

Scripture is the curriculum by which God transforms our minds so that we know what to believe, how to think, and what teachings we are to obey.
