This morning is one of those months where we have 5 Sundays in the month and so on these fifth Sundays we give our Sunday School teachers a break and invite families to bring their children into the sanctuary to worship with us. It doesn’t impact first service since we only offer children’s ministry during second service so instead of messing the times all up we decided to just do something different on the fifth Sunday so the kids could participate and join in the service. So all that being said we will take a break from our study in 2 Thessalonians and pick it back up next week.

Looking at Paul’s words in Second Thessalonians, we’re reminded of the importance of living a life that matches God’s calling. Just like a car needs its alignment checked to drive straight, we need to check our lives to make sure they reflect the character of Christ, especially in times of hardship and persecution.

Pastor Mike focuses on the theme of being “Set Apart by God, to God, and for God.” It reminds us that being set apart doesn’t come from our own efforts but from God’s grace and purpose in our lives.
