Kick off your Sunday with a quick briefing for Sydney: today’s weather, a quiet run on the roads, and major weekend trackwork to plan around.
 
Weather
CBD: 15°C now, heading to 22°C with a shower or two.
Parramatta: Mild and similar to the CBD with a chance of light showers—carry an umbrella.
Bondi: Low 20s with occasional showers.
 
Traffic
Roads are quiet with no incidents reported this morning.
 
Trains – Weekend trackwork and changes
Cronulla Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland all day.
T1 Western & Richmond Lines: Changed timetable and stopping patterns.
Early-morning and late-night Richmond services run Richmond–Central only, with extra stops at Granville and Auburn.
6:30am–10:30am: Some trains make extra stops at Homebush and Ashfield.
Cabramatta–Granville: Buses replace trains all day.
Inner West Line: 6:20am–10:30am buses replace trains between Ashfield and Central.
Leppington services: Extra stops at Homebush and Croydon.
Service frequency: Some lines running every 30 minutes—check the Transport app before you travel.
