Matthew 4:1-11 "The Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert, so that the devil could test him. After Jesus had gone without eating for forty days and nights, he was very hungry. Then the devil came to him and said, "If you are God's Son, tell these stones to turn into bread."Jesus answered, "The Scriptures say: 'No one can live only on food. People need every word that God has spoken.' "Next, the devil took Jesus to the holy city and had him stand on the highest part of the temple. The devil said, "If you are God's Son, jump off. The Scriptures say: 'God will give his angels orders about you. They will catch you in their arms, and you won't hurt your feet on the stones.' "Jesus answered, "The Scriptures also say, 'Don't try to test the Lord your God!' "Finally, the devil took Jesus up on a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms on earth and their power. The devil said to him, "I will give all this to you, if you will bow down and worship me." Jesus answered, "Go away Satan! The Scriptures say: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve only him.' "Then the devil left Jesus, and angels came to help him. "

Genesis 8:18-2218 So Noah, along with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, came out. 19 All wildlife, all livestock, every bird, and every creature that crawls on the earth came out of the ark by their groups. 20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord. He took some of every kind of clean animal and every kind of clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 When the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, He said to Himself, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, even though man’s inclination is evil from his youth. And I will never again strike down every living thing as I have done.22 As long as the earth endures,seedtime and harvest, cold and heat,summer and winter, and day and nightwill not cease.”

You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him

Matthew 21:1-111When they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples, 2telling them, “Go into the village ahead of you. At once you will find a donkey tied there, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to Me. 3If anyone says anything to you, you should say that the Lord needs them, and immediately he will send them.”4This took place so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled:5Tell Daughter Zion,“Look, your King is coming to you,gentle, and mounted on a donkey,even on a colt,the foal of a beast of burden.” 6The disciples went and did just as Jesus directed them. 7They brought the donkey and the colt; then they laid their robes on them, and He sat on them. 8A very large crowd spread their robes on the road; others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them on the road. 9Then the crowds who went ahead of Him and those who followed kept shouting:Hosanna to the Son of David!He who comes in the nameof the Lord is the blessed One! Hosanna in the highest heaven!10When He entered Jerusalem, the whole city was shaken, saying, “Who is this? ” 11And the crowds kept saying, “This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee! ”

Leviticus 19:23-25 23“When you come into the land and plant any kind of tree for food, you are to consider the fruit forbidden. It will be forbidden to you for three years; it is not to be eaten. 24In the fourth year all its fruit must be consecrated as a praise offering to the Lord. 25But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way its yield will increase for you; I am Yahweh your God.

II Kings 7:3-83Now there were four men with leprosy sitting at the entrance of the city gates. “Why should we sit here waiting to die?” they asked each other. 4“We will starve if we stay here, but with the famine in the city, we will starve if we go back there. So we might as well go out and surrender to the Aramean army. If they let us live, so much the better. But if they kill us, we would have died anyway.”5So at twilight they set out for the camp of the Arameans. But when they came to the edge of the camp, no one was there! 6For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the clatter of speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the sounds of a great army approaching. “The king of Israel has hired the Hittites and Egyptians to attack us!” they cried to one another. 7So they panicked and ran into the night, abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything else, as they fled for their lives.8When the lepers arrived at the edge of the camp, they went into one tent after another, eating and drinking wine; and they carried off silver and gold and clothing and hid it.
