How does the hope of the gospel speak to our uncertainties related to the advent of AI?
We learn from this great passage in Isaiah that we will never find a substitute for the sovereign God, no matter how powerful it may be or how much it may disrupt our cultural certainty about what life will be like in the future.
Everyone boasts in something. But for the person who knows the One who loved them and have themself for them there's only one thing worth boasting in.
So why is the Cross, the message of Jesus' death and resurrection, the only thing worth boasting in? We turn to this final part of Paul's letter to the Galatians churches to find out.
Is growth and progress in the Christian life simply a matter of determination? We know what we need to do and we just need to get on with doing it?
What does freedom in Christ look like when it comes to bearing the fruit of the Spirit and becoming more like Jesus? The grace-powered gospel applied in Galatians 5:16-26 might surprise us.

What if we find ourselves falling back into our old slavish ways of religious rule keeping?
The apostle Paul called the Galatians Christians back from going down the path of slavery to religious rule keeping. How then can we be truly free? It begins with being rescued. It entails an ongoing battle, but it results in claiming our ultimate birth rights as children of God by faith in Jesus Christ.
How do you know if you belong?
Our slavish mentality of thinking we need to try harder and do more in order to be accepted by God can also infect our relationship with God that we share in Christ. But Christ has brought us into a new reality and relationship with God that is defined not by what we do but what the Father has given us. We explore this more in today's passage in Galatians.
Who are the true inheritors of God's promises to Abraham?
The apostle Paul delves more deeply into the role of God's Old Testament Law and the arrival of its fulfilment in Jesus. Abraham is the key Old Testament figure whose story helps us unpack the relationship between living by law and living by faith in Jesus. Because it's those who have faith in Jesus, the Seed of Abraham, who inherit what God promised to him.
