In Matthew 10:5–15, the King establishes four foundational principles that govern the ministry of His messengers.

As we live our Christian life, we will come up against adversity and evil that can derail us, but we don’t have to fear those times because God is our refuge and strength.

Psalm 45 celebrates the marriage of an earthly king of Israel, which shows us the continuing outworking of the purpose of God for His people. But this Psalm goes deeper as we see the outworking of God's further revelation, which all points us to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Himself, who is the bridegroom of His people, and who is superior to all and is victorious over all.

The nation of Israel suffered a major setback, they have lost a battle, but Israel was not in sin, they have been faithful to the Lord, showing us that sometimes we will suffer unexpected setbacks in life even when we’re faithful, and when that happens we remember three things.
