The early Christian's were unwavering in their allegiance to Jesus and what he called the Kingdom of God-a new kind of reality marked by love for God, love for neighbor, and love for enemy. This commitment positioned them to invite the watching world into a radical alternative to the way the world was typically ordered. That opportunity is still ours today.
