Here are some uncomfortable questions to ask yourself when you decide that you're ready for an ego death:

1. What are your 3 least favorite nonphysical characteristics about yourself? What would need to happen for those to change?2. If you were not you, what do you think your honest first impression of yourself would be and why? How do you think people perceive you and why?3. How would your younger self react if they watched your current life as a tv show? Would they change the channel, or feel satisfied with what they see?4. What was the last lie you told? Big or small. What prompted that lie, who was on the receiving end of that lie, and why did you feel the need to lie?5. If you were breaking up with yourself, what would be the reason?
