Today at our Poole Campus, we were honoured to hear from Dave Brackenridge, Pastor of Home Church Scotland and CEO of Youth for Christ UK.

Dave preached a powerful and timely message titled “Don’t Miss This Moment.” Drawing from the life of Joseph, he reminded us that God is not only faithful to His promises, but deeply present in the process. Even in seasons of pain, opposition, and waiting, God is at work with us and for us.

Through honest personal testimony, Dave shared how resistance, persecution, and challenge have become the very ground God has used to bring breakthrough, miraculous salvations, and baptisms within their church.

This message will encourage you to trust God in the middle, recognise His hand in difficult seasons, and refuse to miss what He is doing right now.

We wrap up our Teach Us to Pray series with Part 7: “It’s Good to Talk” as Dan unpacks what it means to “pray without ceasing”—not with fancy words, but with real, honest conversation with God. We conclude our AWAKEN series by exploring what it means to pray with authority.

Salvation in Christ is more than being saved from something—it’s being saved to and for something. In Jesus, we receive forgiveness, healing, purpose, freedom, hope, identity, and peace—and authority that flows from sonship, not status.

Jesus teaches that authority is always tied to assignment. From Mark 13 to the sending of the Twelve and the Seventy-Two, Scripture shows us this truth: when you walk in your assignment, you walk in authority.

Prayer isn’t passive. Our assignment in prayer is to partner with God in seeing His will done on earth. Authority in prayer is the delegated right, rooted in our union with Christ, to enforce His victory and align earth with heaven.
