Beginning our new series, Church Defined, Adam looks at the traits of a bride and applies them to The Church. Are we hungry for the bridgegroom's presence? Do we desire more of God? Are we ready to make ourselves attractive in His eyes?

In this message Dom talks about two random guys who we find in the Bible who are on a walk away from the promise of God on the first Easter Sunday. Why are they walking away? Despondency, discouragement and doubt. What happens when they walk away from the promise. The promise in the form of the risen Christ searches them out. It’s time to find confidence in the truth that in those moments of despair Jesus is always near - can you see him?

In this message Dom looks at the human condition...how we are fundamentally broken, and struggle to ‘be good’ and ‘do good’ as people. This speaks to our need for a substitute, someone to live in our place and possibly even die in our place. Maybe the 'curveball' person of Barabbas in the gospels, who isn’t often spoken of, holds some insights on how this plays out. ‘I’m dying out here’ is a message aimed to challenge your self awareness and point you to your ultimate need.

Life often has a way of weighing us down with pressure and expectations that are too much for us to bear, and sometimes even following God can become a wearisome endeavour. In this sermon, Pastor Phil reminds us that the invitation to follow Jesus  is first an offer of rest before it is a command to work. As we come to Jesus He accepts and loves us just as we are, and so releases us from the pressure of feeling like we have to measure up or prove ourselves. 

Continuing our 'Just Jesus' series, Helen Goldenberg brings a fantastic Mothers Day message encouraging us to leave a legacy to our children (and our spiritual children). We should consider our children like arrows in our hand (Psalm 127) and should be careful about where we aim them. We should be pointing them towards just Jesus.

In this message, Pastor Adam speaks about 'Explaining Jesus'. The way we share the gospel with others should always be within the context of grace, freedom and hope. We looked at a few examples from the gospels when Jesus defied the expectations of those around him and fulfilled his mission...to offer outrageous grace...the same mission he has passed on to us.

In this message, Pastor Dom talks about your infinite value and how understanding this more fully is the antidote to your deep rooted insecurities. Knowing and believing that we are the apple of God’s eye is a game changer. Listen closely and receive the truth that has the power to set you free.

How can we truly know Christ?  And can we really be joyful in suffering? Pastor Fru takes a deep dive into Philippians 3:10. 

In this message, Dom looks at what to do when we’re in a storm and it feels like Jesus is passing us by. Often we pray for relief but maybe God has something better for us. By looking at a well known passage Dom endeavours to bring fresh insights.

Continuing our 'Just Jesus' series, Pastor Dom takes us through some of Jesus' miracles plus Jehoshaphat's victory and encourages us to see that Jesus is the 'Lord of the Aftermath'! He goes far beyond simply dealing with the crisis and we see that the place of overwhelming burden becomes a place of abundant blessing.
