As we step into a new year, we believe God is sounding an alarm to His Church: Wake up.
This message launches our new series AWAKEN, exploring what it means to be spiritually alert in a moment when heaven is leaning in and history is turning.
In Gethsemane, Jesus asks His closest friends for one thing: “Stay here. Watch with Me. Pray.” They loved Him. They were close to Him. And yet—they slept.
This message confronts a sobering reality: You can be in church, in Christian community, familiar with Scripture, and still be spiritually sleeping.
Together we explore:
- Why spiritual sleep is rarely about bad intentions
- The tension between a willing spirit and a weak flesh
- Why prayer is the battleground of awakening
- How the enemy targets prayer to stall growth and freedom
- Why sleeping in prayer leads to confusion in crisis
This is not a word of condemnation, it’s a call to faithful, tired people who don’t want to miss the hour they’re living in.
