Recorded on January 18, 2025, on the Moonpie Deck overlooking Heart Pond, this is the sound of a sunrise chorus of winter birds featuring a flock of Canada Geese flying in and landing gracefully on the pond. The morning begins with the caw of Blue Jays & American Crows accompanied by the songs of White-throated Sparrows & Carolina Chickadees along with House & Goldfinches, Dark-eyed Juncos, Tufted Titmice, Carolina Wrens and Northern Cardinals. Adding to the ambiance are the occasional resonant drops on the raindrum as morning dew falls from the roof.
