Thousands of small businesses are on life-support this morning with a recent survey showing almost half didn't even make a profit in the past year. It follows the collapse of Australian fashion retailer Mosaic Brands, which will close more than 200 stores and shut down 5 of its brands across the country.

Iran has launched a major missile attack on Israel in a massive escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. Air raids sounded across Israel as around 180 were fired with the Israeli Defence Forces saying most of them were intercepted. US naval destroyers also intercepted several missiles and Australian diplomats are right now scrambling to secure seats on commercial flights out of Lebanon to help Australians now in the middle of the escalating conflict.
