American actress Shannen Doherty has passed away after a long battle with cancer at the age of 53. The actor was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 before her diagnosis moved to terminal in 2020. She revealed the cancer had spread to her brain, in June of last year. Doherty passed surrounded by her family and beloved dog, Bowie.
