    Sunset Grooves Edit 012
    **********************
Up next we have the talented French producer coming from down South! He has brought his touch to the sublime original from Geographer which in itself was ballsy! However, this smooth breakbeat / downtempo vibe combines beautifully with Geographer's extraordinary vocals.
A track that will guarantee shivers down your spine and will fill you with emotions you were not expecting.

  • Sunset Grooves Podcast #221 - Kriszpy
Peak time summer is almost upon us and in charge of the Sunset decks we have the wonderful Krispy! Kriszpy was born in Russia and grew up in Germany. She discovered her love for music and dancing at a young age, mainly as an efficient way to get rid of her excess energy. Today she fascinates the dancefloor through her energy and good mood and plays her music with all her heart. Her main sound is blending together deep house and melodic techno in all its colors and shapes!
She has put together a wicked hour mix full of powerful vibes and goes straight into the thick of it with her intro track! Be sure to check out her other mixes and keep an eye out for her if you are in Berlin!

  • FREE DL: Tracey Thorn - Grand Canyon (LVND Rework)
    Sunset Grooves Edit 011
    *********************
We are back with an exquisite downtempo rework, gifted by the wonderful LVND. In his words "a humble dedication to one of the best female vocals ever lived, Tracey Thorn. Originally being a faster track, I decorated the song with some "modern downtempo" elements and lowered the BPM to 105."
From Guardian: "Tracey's voice - forever one of British pop's better instruments - is rich in texture and meaning, slightly sad but with a base note of joyous redemption. It's put to exemplary use here. The backbone of the set is voguish club music."

  • Sunset Grooves Podcast #220 - Funky Chap
Some people ask what style of music do you play and it is very difficult for me to respond. However, if I am playing in a night club or a festival and need to crank up the bpm's I absolutely love it! It has been a while since I last mixed and therefore been curating some of these dance floor bangers over the past few months! Bring on the summer sunsets!

  • PREMIERE: Konchord - Spring Snowflake (Airka Remix) [Hug Records]
Massive remix on a massive EP. Such a pleasure to share dope music! Kick off your week with this absolute downtempo banger.
    Track Info:
Meet the Artist behind the music, in this case Konstantin aka @Konchord:
What's the funniest name you can think of for a pet?
"Assi, as in asozial. For a dog in german I can then say: Komm Assi,
    gehen wir Gassi."
What's the cheesiest movie moment or line you can think of?
Leonoardo DiCaprio holding Kate Winslet in Titanic, making her "fly" on
top of the ship's bow. With the melody of "My Heart Will Go On" in the
    background. Purest cheese I've seen.
    What’s your worst bug-related story?
I'm pretty fine with bugs as animals, but as a software developer I've
dealt with some nasty ones, which usually lead to great satisfaction
when finally finding and solving it.
Remix by @airka-paris, master by @elpeche and released by @hugrecords
