Upcoming Premiere from Rambal Cochet aka Volta Cab with his super dope EP on the wicked label Dark Leader. This track is full of groove and compliments the other two tracks on the EP which are more sinister and punchy.

This month, Saint Petersburg producer Volta Cab unleashes three tracks of shadowy dance goodness under the name Rambal Cochet. The new moniker is Cab’s persona for producing Goa Disco, a 4-on-the-floor, dark goa-influenced dance music that clearly embraces the best releases from labels like Wax Trax and Nettwerk.

The first track “Afro Express” moves your feet with a bouncy tribal house feel, then takes you to the next level with swirling psychedelic synth lines. Things get very energetic with “Haunted Powder Mind”. Its sinister undertones will haunt you and the punchy-driving groove with bring the dance floor to a frenzy. Finally the B-side brings us “Ottoman Empire” A middle eastern soaked EBM number that reminds us all that the dance is rooted in ancient ritual.

One of the East’s most sought-after producers, Cab (real name Konstantyn Isaev), has already proven he can work in genres as varying as dub and classic house, but this 3-song 12 inch coming out on Dark Leader Records show he can invent them too.

Sugark is taking over the sunset vibes for the next couple of weeks and what a mix he has made for us. Having met him last year at our friends @rebelomusic birthday celebrations we made an instant connection and discussed plenty and it was therefore with pleasure to invite him on board to do a special mix for Sunset Grooves. Coming from the Algarve underground scene in Portugal, he now resides in Berlin where he, amongst many other things, manages the wonderful aristic movement @hedone-world.

The first part of this mix leads off with deep chilled vibes with undertones of deep house, groovy vocals and the second half is a more progressive and powerful session. With subtle transitions and a variety in the track selection Sugark will embark you on a super dope musical journey.

Sunset Grooves began 6 years ago and back then the idea of having 10 mixes was already an achievement.... we are now at Number 150 and the talent that has passed through this podcast is unbelievable with so many artists who were not necessarily known when they made their mix for Sunset, but are know headlining events is so dope to see! https://soundcloud.com/funky-chap is proud and inspired!

For this special 150th edition it is an absolute pleasure to have done a b2b with the wonderful https://soundcloud.com/atroposvibes . To put you in context, we literally began this mix while the sun was setting and finished well into the dark! A musical journey of all sorts of sub genres and references starting off at 92bpm and finishing at 119bpm. It wasn't easy finding our bearings at the beginning but we then found the flow, the mojo, THAT vibe and just kept on giving! The mix is by no means perfect, but the imperfections is what makes this set a sunset grooves musical experience and a real b2b! Not afraid to try out tracks we had never played or even thought about putting together. Hopefully we can show you the "making of" video as we laughed and danced like mad men who love music!

Dope track by B.A.X. for an upcoming release on Redlight Vision. Enjoy this deep melodic track!

Release Info:

Number 5 of release series ‘Redlight Vision’ brings Julian Rosh, Polkolor, B.A.X. and Julian Rhodes to the Berlin based record label. A musical journey along House and Electronica music.

Organic composition ‘Black Circus’ from the Spanish born and Berlin based artist Julian Rosh (who was already involved on Denite’s LP remixes) is opening this EP. A nice taste of analog synthesizers with warm and classic sounds build a moody Classic House track using some choppy chords and keys as the main tool.

Following up is the fresh production of Julian Rhodes. With a UK breaks vibe and brilliant pads he combines mood and melody into a great track.

Number 3 is for the Polish artist Polkolor. His House cut includes a loopy bass and a few string synths that top the rhythmic groove and work so well hooking you from the very first minute.

Last but not least comes the Vietnamese DJ and producer B.A.X. who draws a smooth and beautiful composition with a piano as the main conductor. He builds different ambiances with pads and effects all along the track, transporting the vibe to different states and feelings.

One of our favorite producers from the past 6 or so years, Dogu Civicik a talented producer from Izmir, Turkey has put together a delicious concocted mix full of interesting beats, edits and variety of electronic genres. Perfect sunset scene setter. Making quality edits of classic tracks from Sting to using samples from his home country of Turkey to produce original tracks, his variety is something we have always appreciated and enjoyed particularly because everything he does has a groovy touch to it!

ECKRT has been popping through the underground scene over the last 12 months in a strong way! He has put together a jungle vibe inspired mix with a super strong progressive feel throughout the set. What a super EP by Landhouse and such a wicked remix by Al Lindrum. Cannot go wrong with a combination of these two!

Landhouse delivers Elyx EP; his debut on WAYU Records and a musical work that brings the listener into a melancholic passage filled with subtleness and sensitivity.

The talented German producer was able to conceptualize 3 unique tracks by maintaining the same energy in between them, and accomplishing uniqueness in the way he presents the sonic qualities of each element and melody he chose for the EP. By carefully making musical decisions, he was able to paint an amazing relationship between subtle chord progressions and the arpeggios that accompany such chords, creating a true, honest and peaceful discussion in between each instrument.

For this EP we bring back the talented Shunus, creating a remix for "Lo Fumo", which stays true to his consistent sound he has been presenting in past productions, and transforming the original mix into a perfect track for a club environment. We also welcome back Al Lindrum, bringing that closure we all expected; a remix that understands the mood of this EP, providing an alternative passage to the track "Bukk".

By invoking a state of trance and maintaining a feeling of forwardness, Elyx EP presents the audience with an illusion of a promised arrival, amidst this mystical road filled with forest leaves and heartbroken thoughts.
