Pastor Steve Ruetschle - Acts 2:2-4
SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
Please read Acts 1 and 2 and consider the following questions.
1) Steve noted that the Holy Spirit often speaks to us via the words of a worship song or hymn. Have you had this experience? Is there a particular time when you were prompted by the Holy Spirit via a worship song or hymn? Please share.
2) In Acts 1:4 Jesus tells the disciples that they must wait in Jerusalem “for the gift my Father promised.” Tell the group about a time when you had to wait on God. What were the circumstances? How long did you have to wait?
3) A Spirit-filled church is exemplified by a) apostolic teaching; b) fellowship; c) breaking bread together and d) prayer. Which of these do you find most important or helpful in your walk with the Lord? (Acts 2:42) Why?
4) How do you experience the work of the Holy Spirit in your life? This week ask Him to speak to you and share what He is calling you to do in our church, your neighborhood and relationships with others.
