1 Kings 17:1-6

Welcome to our summer series, Below the Surface. In it, we will explore many stories about two great prophets from the Old Testament, Elijah and Elisha. Their experiences can seem fantastic and strange; our goal in these messages will be to understand their times the prophetic role they played, and the deep truths God was revealing about himself through the miracles he did in, through, and around them. In other words, we'll get below the surface of each story and figure out what it's really about! We start with ravens serving as waiters....

Matthew 6:19-34

This is the last message in our Pour Excuses series, and it is also Pentecost Sunday. This is a Sunday when we recall how God poured out his Holy Spirit on his people. What a great Sunday to think about the fact that God pours himself out, too! His lavish gift of the Holy Spirit frees us to serve him from the heart without worrying about ourselves, our possessions, the future, or our security!

Matthew 5:13-20

This message, we will look at some very famous words from Jesus and think about what they mean for us as his followers. We sometimes think we are supposed to hide out in this world; at other times, we try to blend in. Jesus says we are supposed to stand out and make a difference for him. We are called to set aside our comfort in order to be salt and light in the world, sharing the good news about Jesus wherever we go. We are excited to celebrate this shared mission!

Matthew 5:1-12

Titus 3

God has wired us all a little differently to in the church but our purpose is the same: to share the good news of Jesus. Everyone is supposed to play a part, but NOT because it is the way we earn our salvation! Be productive Church in your gratitude for grace!

Titus 2

The Church is made up of people, and people have different strengths, stories, challenges, and hopes. Jesus is so smart in how he puts us together! Often, though, we can feel frustrated with our place, role, or situations at different points in our lives. One top of that, sometimes our blindness leads us to think that one person or role is more valuable than another or that we are trapped in obligation and rules. The truth is that each of us has a part to pay in the family of God as we do good deeds together, and all of the parts are set free to become interdependent!

Titus 1

Welcome to our new series, Building Blocks, in which we explore the book of Titus and its teaching about how God building up his Church. When he makes his church strong, he does it by basing everything on his promises, which all find their fulfillment and " yes" in Jesus Christ. God never lies, and all his truth and promises are solid ground for our lives. God founds and builds up his church on the foundation of sound doctrine, godly leadership, and humble obedience. We are so thankful to have the scriptures and faithful leaders who are shaped by them!

Happy Easter! He is Risen! Easter is a wonderful day of hop and celebration eve if the world around us doesn't seem to have gotten the memo. This message is the last in our Great Physician series, and it depicts Jesus' interaction with Thomas, one of his apostles who needed some convincing about the resurrection. It reveals something amazing: Jesus believes in skeptics, even before they believe in him; he loves and understands those whose faith must come by fighting!

John 18:28-19:16

As we enter Holy Week leading up to Easter, there is a question in our passage that stands out above the rest. it is a question that we all ask of life everyday. Pilate asks this question in a moment of carelessness and frustration s but it is a turning point for him that leads him to care about something beyond himself.
