On May 16th, 2019, U.S. Olympic track star, Allyson Felix, testified to the U.S. House of Representatives about her near death experience giving child birth.

Did you know that lack of sun exposure is a determinant of your health? Determinants of health are the behavioral, social and environmental factors that influence our health status. They include the following factors like living wages, access to quality education, access to healthy food, exposure to crime and violence, poverty, weather and more.
More people now acknowledge that racism and discrimination are also significant determinants of our health. 70% of Americans are vitamin D deficient, including 62% of the White population and 95% of the Black population.
