Tyler Jenke, editor of Rolling Stone Australia, joins Matt and Samer this week to take them through 12 songs that define his life.

We had such a great conversation with Tyler -- his backstory of how he got into music, mix tapes, and ultimately his role at Rolling Stone was so cool to learn and hear about. We can't wait to have him back on the show!

We've been listening to some of the new bands/music he introduced us to ever since he sent this mix over, and we think you will, too!

We decided to tackle bands/artists that were known for a single hit — i.e. “1 hit wonders”. Rather than just make a mix of well known 1-hit wonders (there are plenty of great ones out there already!), we decided we wanted to showcase other great songs from these bands. That perhaps there’s more than just that one song that is worth listening to!

We followed the format of picking 6 songs each for a total of 12— There are some bands that we admittedly had no idea they had such prolific careers (and that are still producing new music). We hope you enjoy and are inspired to dig deeper into music libraries as a result!
