On this podcast, Maanda Tshifularo continues his conversation with Prof Saurabh Sinha, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Johannesburg. Prof Saurabh continued unpacking artificial intelligence, decolonization of knowledge and the reality of the fourth industrial revolution.
Under his leadership as the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, the UJ faculty of engineering was ranked number one in Africa in Engineering and Technology according to the Times Higher Education (2017).
Prof Saurabh formerly served as Director of the Carl and Emily Fuchs Institute for Microelectronics at the University of Pretoria, where he graduated with a Ph.D. in electronic engineering. He has authored / co-authored over 100 journal articles and conference papers as well as three books, under his leadership.
