Blatant disrespect, inter-dimensional travel, bottles of scotch, and plumbers from Brooklyn... No I’m not talking about Christian’s birthday parties, I’m talking about the 1993 masterpiece of Super Mario Bros. Apparently this film is fraught with anachronisms and has little to nothing to do with the beloved video game franchise. It does however have a TON of plumbing. And zero jumping, no one eats a single shell, or size growing altering mushrooms. Christian is strapped to a chair and forced to watch Alejandro’s favorite video game movie, the same movie that makes Christian physically ill. This film does start to fall apart almost as soon as it starts but check out the link below to watch the extended cut and see how they some how managed to take a ton of garbage footage and turned into a garbage movie.
