This one is referred to as the "Ghostbusters" script, where they were going with the idea of a Bill Muray Super Mario. Written by Parker Bennett and Terry Runte in 1992 this version becomes a bridge between the early fantasy drafts and the Mario movie we know today. Though this movie is hitting for the more attitude era PG-13 vibe. Fun stuff is had throughout.
