While Dave is on vacation we are presenting you with our live show from Broken Goblet Brewery. We had a lot of fun watching Ghostbusters with the crowd and having a brief discussion on the classic comedy. We then played trivia and gave away prizes. It was a success in our eyes and plan on doing more. On Sept 21st we will be having another live show from Broken Goblet where we will be watching JAWS and doing another discussion and trivia. Dave and Jay recount their week. Jay spent the weekend in the mountains and Dave cursed out a teenager at the movies while seeing Don't Breathe. Dave also takes another trip to the ER. In news Jay talks on about some indie movie bullshit set to come out just before awards season. Dave runs down some Spider-Man: Homecoming casting news and the reveal of a villain's costume. Jay and Dave also discuss Daniel Craig being offered $150m dollars to come back to James Bond for 2 more films, and Jason Mamoa playing the Crow. The guys also review two beers from the Magic Hat Brewing Co.'s Fall Variety Pack Night of the Living Dead. They review the hoppy red ale The Vamplifier and the S.M.A.S.H Hits Vol. 2 IPA. In this week's main topic Dave and Jay discuss the super films that were in development that we never got. Like Neil Gaiman and Guillermo Del Toro's Dr. Strange film, Tarantino's Iron Man, and George Miller's Justice League Mortal. Dave also laments that he will never get a Christopher Walken Braniac and does a piss poor impression of the actor.

Marvel announces more TV Shows for their ever growing pantheon of the MCU with the announcement of a New Warriors TV series in production to focus on none other than Squirrel Girl. The Russo's tease Captain America's new mantle in Avengers: Infinity War. Jay and Dave also pay tribute to Gene Wilder who passed this week. They review 2 Omission beers from Widmer Brewing Co. out of Oregon. Over on the Marvel side, Fox is eyeing Kyle Chandler to play Cable and Mackenzie Davis for Domino in Deadpool 2. Also Thor: Ragnarok has some set photos revealing the fate of Odin after Thor: The Dark World, and the possibility of another Marvel hero appearing in the film of a certain "Strange" variety. Vin Diesel also states that the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in Avengers: Infinity War...No surprise there. Finally for the news Sausage Party studio in hot water over labor dispute from animators on the film. Jay did a whole lot of nothing while watching some indie films from some great directors he has forgotten the name to and reveals how attracted he is to Cate Blanchett. Dave then dubs her Cate Blan-Shit due to her dull androgynous features...mainly cause he confused her for Tilda Swinton. Dave gives his impressions on The Secret Life of Pets and Bad Moms. In news Jay runs down the box office while Dave re-writes Jason Bourne to include Jeremy Renner and Al Pacino. Despite Suicide Squad Squad's negative reviews it is still No. 1 at the box office...with a 67% drop off. In other news Jay brings up the teaser photos of the Superman Black Suit and Dave as the comic fan is unimpressed unless it includes a mullet. In other news Dave discusses the short 26 second teaser for the recently announced Netflix Punisher solo series. Which is something we have all wanted since seeing Jon Bernthal's Punisher in season 2 of Daredevil. Dave also reveals other big Marvel news in the reveal of Hulu TV series that will be based on the Brian K. Vaughn comic series The Runaways. Not to be confused with band that had a bio movie out a few years ago of the same name.
