This week we discuss Disney news around reopening in the age of COVID, the "plusing" of Splash Mountain, and Hamilton coming to Disney+. • Disneyland has postponed their opening.

  • They've said they are pushing the date back opening date because California is not issuing reopening protocols until after July 4th.  
  • Yesterday the Coalition for Resort Labor Unions (which represents about 17,000 Disney employees in California) held a rally/caravan calling for more safety measures upon opening.  Specifically they want routine COVID testing. Negotiations are ongoing.  
• So far, WDW has made no plans to change their opening date of July 11 for MK and AK, and July 15 for Epcot and HS.

  • There is a call by some cast members and performers to delay the park opening for health safety.
