It's reigning champ Matt Wight joining former champ Catfish to discuss the burning questions facing each team for the 2023 season. It's not a full team preview or anything like that, but we unpack the most pressing issues facing each team for this year and of course, what that means for SuperCoach!

This episode we look at the Storm, the Knights, the Bulldogs and the Titans. The rest of the teams will come in upcoming episodes!

It's a rather subdued welcome to 2023! Catfish and Joe Fitz ease into the new year with a focus on the most expensive players in SuperCoach for 2023. To do this, we've had a bit of a review of 2022's opening rounds and how the most expensive players for last year fared compared to their great seasons in 2021 (that gave them those prices to start 2022 with). There are some surprising discoveries and revelations for both of us in this list!

Things ended up a bit wild over the offseason in real life for the past few months so we weren't as active as we'd hoped to be, but we're off and running for 2023 and you'll be seeing us more regularly soon!

Welcome to the 2022 overall champ, Matthew Wight! He joins yesterday's news, 2021 Champ Tim Moodie, as well as ancient history, 2016 Champ Wilfred Zee, and *insert Conor McGregor voice* who da f00k is that guy, never-was Joe Fitz, and we get to know Matt, share in his experience of winning and then (of course) we talk through his season and work through the highs and lows.

We also announce our 2022 Tilermade Group Comp winners (congrats to Ryan, coach of ChiChiMungas and Troy, coach of Roosters Pack) as well as our Champs Only winner (Rod, coach of Team Bozza)!

It's the offseason officially but we'll still be here unofficially over the coming months, not weekly but possibly every second week or so!

It's the final round, Round 25, for the 2022 SuperCoach season, but it's also Episode 200! After this week we'll have a new overall champion, so this week we have the current still-reigning 2021 Champion Tim Moodie joining 2016 Champion Catfish and Joe Fitz (fresh from his Vanuatu holiday)! We go through the key news, injuries and suspensions, and also do some serious number crunching in our new segment proudly sponsored by Carl McGrath Accountant. This week we take another look at the post-Round 16 Latrell Mitchell and general thoughts on 2023 fullbacks!

Strategy-wise, we look at the potential scenarios and results in earlier games where outcomes may see more players rested in the later games, and give some general thoughts on those match-ups. We go through our best picks for VC/C choices this week and then throw out some "Hail Mary" POD picks for those who still have trades. We also tackle our Swysh SuperCoach Star of the Round predictions too.

This week we have the current still-reigning 2021 Champion Tim Moodie joining 2016 Champion Catfish and we also have 2020 Champion Joe Naddaf to share his special insights and PODs which he has a proven record of picking! We go through the key news, injuries and suspensions, and also do some serious number crunching in our new segment proudly sponsored by Carl McGrath Accountant. It's H2H preliminary finals and only three rounds left to achieve overall glory for 2022. We've got 2021 Champion Tim Moodie joining 2016 Champion Catfish and Joe Fitz to go through the key news, injuries and suspensions, and also do some serious number crunching in our new segment proudly sponsored by Carl McGrath Accountant. This week we take a closer look at the most highly rostered CTW options, how they're travelling recently and deep dive into some POD options that are travelling significantly better lately and who are hardly on any teams in the top 1000 currently.

Strategy-wise, we look at which teams we can trust right now, and the players in those teams that we feel confident rolling out for SuperCoach purposes. We preview Round 23's games and look at a number of players of interest, and we also tackle our Swysh SuperCoach Star of the Round predictions too.

With four rounds left it's well and truly crunch time for overall and H2H. We've got 2021 Champion Tim Moodie joining 2016 Champion Catfish and Joe Fitz to go through the key news, injuries and suspensions, and also do some serious number crunching in our new segment proudly sponsored by Carl McGrath Accountant. This week we take a closer look at the trending 2RF options who are head and shoulders (literally and figuratively) above the others right now.

Strategy-wise, we consider how to use our final 1/2/3 or so trades, and also we play hypothetical - Tim Moodie shares his thoughts on what the leader and the closest chasers should do, and Catfish shares what he would do if he was leading/chasing; both these guys drawing on some personal experience too! We preview Round 22's games and look at a number of players of interest, and we also tackle our Swysh SuperCoach Star of the Round predictions too.

Round 21 kicks off tonight and we're here again with the Round 21 Late Mail edition (still missing Wacko unfortunately but we got some of his mail this week haha). Plenty of chat re: Fifita, Angus, Kikau, the Panthers backline, and who would win in a cage match between some prominent SuperCoach 'celebs' haha!

It's the start of the H2H finals, so you've got 2021 Champion Tim Moodie joining 2016 Champion Catfish and Joe Fitz to go through the key news, injuries and suspensions, and also do some serious number crunching in our new segment proudly sponsored by Carl McGrath Accountant. This week we take a closer look at how next level Nathan Cleary was at the halfback position and compare his numbers to some of the more popular replacements.

Strategy-wise, we go deep into the best replacements for Nathan Cleary, as well as whether you even get a halfback at all, plus we consider in more detail how that might impact one of the best SuperCoach scoring teams in the Panthers for the rest of the season. We preview Round 21's games and look at a number of players of interest, and we also tackle our Swysh SuperCoach Star of the Round predictions too.
