Back in 2016, Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio mapped out their plans for Justice League 2 and 3, with storyboard art by Jim Lee. Now that we've finished covering Zack Snyder's Justice League, we have guest Zack Brown join us to dive into what the plans for the sequels originally were. Learn about the unused ideas for Justice League 1 that DIDN'T make it into the Snyder Cut, including WHY Clark Kent's return isn't explained, the possible REAL reason behind the black Superman suit, and a shocking and controversial romantic pairing. Then, we dive into the sequels that would have explored the Knightmare timeline, explained the Flash scene in BvS, and paid off the arcs for each member of the Justice League!

Big thanks to Dustin Lee Massey (@dustinleemassey on IG), who did the Knightmare thumbnail art! Check out his work on his IG as well as the links below.

We reunite the entire League for our special 2.5 hour finale to Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Snyder Vs. Whedon. We compare the final two chapters- "Something Darker" and "A Father Twice Over"- to the theatrical cut, analyzing why the Snyder Cut is superior. We dissect Whedon's forced humor in Snyder's more poignant scenes of Clark in Smallville, why Whedon's WonderBat scene was one of the few things about the 2017 Cut that we didn't mind, how badly Whedon butchered Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg, and our theories on why all these changes in the 2017 theatrical cut seem to be deliberate sabotage to make the movie worse.

We got ambitious and tackled the next TWO chapters of Zack Snyder’s Justice League in our Snyder Vs. Whedon series: Chapter Four "Change Machine" and Chapter Five "All The King’s Horses," comparing the two different cuts and analyzing why the Snyder version is so much better. We discuss all the ways Whedon made both the tunnel fight and the Heroes Park battle LAMER, the Gordon scene missing from the Snyder Cut, the controversy around Darkseid forgetting the Anti-Life Equation, and how Whedon's alternative to Silas Stone's sacrifice was...Steppenwolf getting the Mother Box from the parking lot.

We tackle Zack Snyder's Justice League: Snyder vs. Whedon by diving into Chapter 3: Beloved Mother, Beloved Son. This week, we discuss Collider's article on whether Darkseid's defeat in the flashback battle makes him a lesser villain, how badly the Joss-tice League cut butchered Flash and Cyborg's story, and how Mera's always had a British accent in Justice League.

We return to dive into Chapter 2 of Zack Snyder’s Justice League- “The Age of Heroes,” with guest Dustin Lee Massey (@dustinleemassey on IG) breaking down the differences between Snyder’s vision and the Joss Whedon cut from 2017, from Snyder's STAR Labs subplot, how Diana doesn't just magically know about the centuries-old battle anymore, Aquaman's fleshed out character arc, and the major differences in the flashback "history lesson" battle.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a COMPLETELY different and superior movie to the 2017 “Joss-tice League.” To dive into just HOW different and better it is, we’ve teamed up with our own Justice League of guests, Zachary Jackson Brown (@zacharyjacksonbrownart on IG) and Dustin Lee Massey (@dustinleemassey on IG), to break down “Chapter 1: Don’t Count on It Batman” of Zack Snyder’s Justice League and compare its respective scenes to the Joss Whedon cut, discussing WHY the Snyder Cut is so superior and if there’s ANYTHING in the theatrical cut we liked.
