Jon is Dean and Director of Henley Business School, Africa, part of the University of Reading. For 15 years prior to joining Henley, he was the faculty member for strategy and creativity at the University of Cape Town, Graduate School of Business for the MBA and other programmes. He is a Visiting Professor in Creativity and Innovation for the Namibian Business Innovation Centre and Polytechnic of Namibia, and consults and advises numerous companies in Africa and internationally.
Formerly an airline pilot, examiner and aerobatic competitor in Europe and South Africa, he later sold airliners in Africa and the Middle East for British Aerospace, before completing an MBA at Ashridge in 1990. He then began teaching strategy and international business part-time, and joined Airbus Industrie in Toulouse as Marketing and Education Director of a JV to train European aerospace executives in commercial skills. Jon has worked internationally for 30 years, principally in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Australasia and North America.

Yamkela Tywakadi is a published author of 10 books. Her first book to be published is an IsiXhosa novel, that was approved by the South African Department of Education to be used by Grade 9 students learning isiXhosa in South African schools nationwide.
Yamkela has worked for a number of publishing houses as a publisher and these include Quizzical Pictures, Jacana Media, Drum Magazine, Oxford University Press, Pan Macmillan and many more. She has vast experience in both the editorial and the marketing/ publicity side of publishing. She has helped publish and market a number of books in different languages.
Yamkela is currently heading up trade publishing at Sifiso Publishers as a Commissioning Editor. She is the founder of Blank Page Edu, a company that develops mobile app games and board games. She is also a wife and a mother to her daughter, Lukhulu Tywakadi.

She is a South African Delegation leader for the World sustainability energy forum based in Austria, she is a non-executive director at Pikitup a waste management entity owned by the City of Johannesburg, South Africa.
