Recent news suggests that Henry Cavill's Man of Steel character will be returning in a future film to face Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam. Much was made about this possibility by Zack Snyder fans and others who seem obsessed with the idea of Superman fighting. This raises an important question: is Superman simply about his pure physical abilities or something more? Is his only contribution to a story his power and destructive capability?
