Superman & Lois - Ampersand & Sons Podcast (Superman Homepage)

In this, the most technically challenged episode of Ampersand yet, the gentlemen discuss the final episode of this season, a few other assorted pop culture phenomena, and explain just exactly how Leslie Larr got into the unfortunate position she's in.

As Julian becomes the Eradicator and Neal waxes about parrots in the explanation section, the gents vacillate wildly from dead serious rumination to jokes about ABVs, discussing the penultimate episode of the first season of "Superman & Lois".

In this better late than never edition of "Ampersand & Sons," Neal talks with Julian from the road about the last two episodes of "Superman & Lois". Many unusual facts about the season arise, like the magical perfumed swamp set, and for once Neal is positive, and Julian is negative. Not an imaginary story! Not the world with Ultraman!

We also learn there is a Bangkok in India on Earth-Faygo.

Julian asks Neal a series of questions to force Neal to ad lib justifications for the flaws in this week's "Superman & Lois," resulting in some hilarious scenarios and far more lost brain cells. Milo explains a dead socket. Randy Macho Hulk Edge makes yet another lamentable but brief appearance.

Neal has a Deathstroke and is possessed by the spirit of Randy Savage (who is actually Hulk Hogan) over the latest "Superman & Lois" episode. Julian does not hit him with a chair or join him in the ring, but instead provides a more neutral positive take. Milo and Ben return to join forces, with surprisingly different takes on the episode than expected.

Neal and Julian talk about the last episode of "Superman & Lois" and discuss the show's approach to sensitive subjects. There is debate about Sam Lane's sanity and plot coherence. Neal offers a reasonable bid for a Murder Camper. The discussion of deconstructionist hero narratives continues with another look at Jupiter's Legacy. And hey, a wild Milo!

Julian and Neal talk about how slipshod the plot is in "Superman & Lois" episode seven, while admiring a dynamic plot twist. Then the pair touch a difficult topic with a ten foot pole. Ben returns. Neal breathes on his son like Superman and gets surprising results.

Julian and Neal talk about "Superman & Lois" episode "Broken Trust," touching upon issues of plot versus character. Neal does some bad bits, and Julian manages not to mock him too mercilessly. Also, the return of the boys! Well, a boy. You'll see.
