For 2015, Porsche has created a super fast customer race car, the 911 GT3 R based on the 911 GT3 RS production car. Renowned South African Art Dealer Gavin Rooke gathered together a group of great craftsmen to design and exquisitely remanufacture a series of vintage Porsche 911/912 cars as race worthy and collectable works of art. Once built, Gavin and his Dutchmann team takes these DUTCHMANN Edition Weekend Racer Porsches to various African desert and hill climb races. Here in the opening episode, Gavin Rooke and his Dutchmann Porsche team, makes its way from Cape Town to Knysna.

For the 2015 Le Mans 24Hr race, two Porsche teams took overall wins. Earl Bamber (NZ), Nico Hülkenberg (GER) and Nick Tandy (GBR) took the 17th overall victory.  Followed by the sister car of Timo Bernhard (GER), Brendon Hartley (NZ) and Mark Webber (AUS). This made it the fourth one-two result for the brand after achieving this in 1971, 1983, 1987 and 1998.
