Whoop Whoop! It is the second birthday anniversary of the Superstar Communicator Podcast. In this podcast, of course I celebrate two years of broadcasting, but I also celebrate everything I have learnt: from stepping outside my comfort zone and doing something new, to learning so much from my interviewee guests.

The fabulous Jenny Robson of Routes and Branches, is an expert in advising small businesses to exhibit at trade shows. Jenny and I are working together to create a resource to support businesses wishing to exhibit for the first time.

In this first podcast, Jenny shares some amazing tips for preparing to exhibit. This includes doing your research. There are lots of things I hadn't thought of when researching an exhibition. This is important because exhibition companies will promise the world but it has to work for you!

I have been speaking at a big trade show in Lithuania. The audience was an international one and different from many audiences I have previously spoken to; largely because many of the members of the audience spoke English as a second language, and they weren't fluent. This is meant with the greatest respect because the audience really wanted to LEARN!

In this Valentine's Day episode, I share the ways I engaged with my audience, so they LOVED me and wanted to engage with me further.

Last week, radio listeners in the United Kingdom, were shocked to hear that a much loved and respected broadcaster, Terry Wogan had died. Not only were his many fans upset, but also colleagues of all ages.

The message that was constantly repeated, was that Wogan had a unique style that totally engaged  his audience and fans. But he also had values that ensured he focused on his audience and engaged with them.

This week I am delighted as well as excited to share a brilliant interview with the entrepreneur Mary J Baird-Wilcock CSEP, who is currently seeking crowdfunding for an amazing project: the Apprentice Program.

Mary shares her story for creating an online learning platform and community for interns and mentors within the events industry. She is currently running a crowdfunding campaign to fund the project.

In the podcast Mary not only shares her story of what motivated her to set up the program, but also gives some amazing tips for being effective at running a crowdfunding project.

Last week's podcast was all about setting personal goals and sharing them with others by speaking. The response to this podcast has been huge which is great!

This week, I wanted to focus on setting goals if you lead a team or have your business - and need to set goals for your employees. We have the wonderful Neil Simon who has led a number of high profile projects with large teams.

He shares his 3 top tips to sharing goals with teams - this might be setting specific goals for different departments and then personal goals.

I am ending 2015 with a bang! I know you are all setting your intentions for 2016; perhaps sharing online on social media; in planners and online tools, BUT I know from experience that setting goals and then saying them; sharing them; speaking them to friends is THE MOST powerful way to fulfil these dreams. Not only does it REALLY BECOME REAL because you have declared your intentions to others, but internally it becomes real.

We are entering the prime present/gift giving and receiving of the year. I don't know about you, but I've spent lots of time choosing gifts; making and baking gifts and generally put a lot of time, effort and money into buying some lovely presents for family and friends. But it isn't JUST about me; I want the recipients of my presents to be happy - and to be honest, to acknowledge my generosity.
