Belhaven University is mourning the loss of one of its student-athletes, sophomore track and field standout Natalie Black. According to a report from WLBT, Black passed away in her sleep after a track meet on March 1. The Terry native was just 19 years old. Plus, two Mississippi inmates who escaped separate facilities are now back in custody. Convicted murderer Nevin Whetstone was captured Friday afternoon a few miles west of the Mississippi State Penitentiary, where he broke free from last Tuesday. In an unrelated case, the Adams County Sheriff's Office announced it took inmate Myco Fort back into custody late Friday night. Fort, being held on burglary charges, escaped from the Adams County Jail earlier that morning when being trusted to clean the facility.
