We also discuss how context can completely change the value of something—like how a water bottle is cheap at the dollar store but pricey at the airport. It’s all about perspective!
What’s your unique “eye” in a world that might be missing it?

Greetings of peace.
After a nearly 2-year hiatus, I'm beyond excited to announce that "Supiriyor Intellekt," the podcast where we question the questionable in terms of society, spirituality, and everyday life, is back with a brand new episode!
Why the Break? Perfection held me back. Life happened. But now, I'm back and more passionate than ever to dive into the deep, challenging, and often uncomfortable conversations that matter.
New Episode: "Idle Hands Are the Devil's Workshop" 🧠 In this episode, we explore how boredom can lead us astray, especially as Muslims. Shaitan promised to lead us off the righteous path, and sometimes being idle makes us more vulnerable to his tricks. We discuss:
We also delve into the importance of the Asma ul Husna and how these beautiful names of Allah have guided and supported me through tough times, always answering my duas.
I am thrilled to be back and can't wait to reconnect with all of you. The new episode is out now! Tune in, share your thoughts, and let's question the questionable together!

Greetings of peace :)
It's been a hot minute since I haven't recorded and this was partly due to what I mentioned in this podcast. Imposter Syndrome, Quality over Quantity, Content Creation, and all other concepts will be discussed in this episode! Literally is it normal that we constantly underestimate how qualified we are in many spheres of our lives ?! We are bombarded with this notion of consistency, but what is consistency truly about? Should we be following these gurus' regiments and interpretations of "consistency"?? I find this idea quite problematic and can stifle creativity and cause creative blocks.
Anyway enough said, hope y'all enjoy
Dimalya :)
Peace be upon you all and welcome back to another episode!
I am your host Dimalya and on this podcast, Supiriyor Intellekt we question the questionable in terms of all spheres of human interactions in our lives, be it deen (Islam), contemporary societal conventions, relationships, and much more.
In today's episode, we will be discussing the importance of Self-Assessment and how it can make our break our ability to strive for better.
A few points we'll touch on are
A little glossary for the words you might not be familiar with, as they are in Arabic and not everyone comprehends these terms
Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala (SWT): “May He be praised and exalted” or more simply put that all praises are for him alone.
Alhamdulillah: praise be to God
Mashallah: what God has willed
InshaAllah: if Allah wills it.
Bi Ithnillah: by Allah’s will
Hope this helps.
Sending you peace and blessings
Dimalya :)
PART 2 + NEW GUEST Gigi ft Amina & Nazraa ♡
PEACE BE UPON ALL OF YOU
*Trigger warning* we will be talking about eating disorders, body dysmorphia, disordered eating, mental health conditions, substance abuse, traumatic relationships*
In this episode, we continue our discussion on how being children of immigrants affects our relationship with social media. We delve into some other facets that are connected to our use of these platforms such as eating disorders (Brandy Melville), pyramid schemes (Herbalife), Islamic information overload (which sheikhs / sheikhas, ustadhs / ustadhas to follow? ). Do we see ourselves as producers/consumers on social media? Does it attract the evil eye, envy? Lastly, we talk about relationships and of course balancing all of this as Young Muslim Women.
So prepare to take part in a conversation with Me Dimalya, Nazraa Amina, and Gigi. We all had different journeys with these platforms. Me being on my second-year long break, (and now back on socials ), Nazraa is still on these platforms, Amina has not been on a single one of them for more than 5 years and Gigi periodically balances the use of platforms.
So without keeping you any longer, my guests are gonna introduce themselves, I’m sure you guys will LOVE this.
Hope you enjoy! May this episode be beneficial, God willing.
Dimalya ♡
peace be upon all of you guys.
Just a brief intro explaining my new vision for this platform.
Look out for: story times, deep dives, social critiques, and all of the above.
Wishing nothing but blessings and light for you guys.

Whew!! What can I Say, AIl praise to the Highest so glad to be back !!
Join us, Nazraa, Amina, and I, in our first episode of a 3 part series titled social media reflections. In this series, we delve into the different ways we see social media. What’s great about both guests is that we don't all share the same points of view and reservations which makes it all the more engaging! We all have had different stories, relationships, and experiences with Snapchat, Instagram, Youtube Facebook, and all of the above. However all of our stories, yet so different, find a way to intersect each other seamlessly. We talk about how easily accessible social media is for the youth and its repercussions, how it affected us growing up with it, (high school days), and basically how we try to maintain a healthy relationship with it. Nazraa currently still uses these platforms, Amina not using them at all, and for me well... it's complicated. Cancel culture was a huge topic in this episode as well.
Not gonna spill too much, you’ll get it on the episode!
Also, we mentioned in this episode the tragic Bronx fire that claimed the lives of our brothers/ sisters, some as young as 2! Praise be to Allah, may their soul rest in perfect peace and May Jannah tul Firdaus be their eternal abode, Ameen. Here are some links that may help if you want to donate!
To contribute, anyone can text the word "bronxfire" (one word) to 41444 for a link to make a donation.
As always, Sending love and light
Peace be upon All of you !

OUR SEMESTERS ARE CURRENTLY IN THEIR FINAL STAGES! For some, this means fewer hours of sleep, more studying, and giving it the last push. For others, they're already mentally in Hawaii. This episode is just to push you to keep going until the last bit. It might be hard but one week of hard work beats a month of regret!

How many times have we stopped ourselves in our tracks whenever we want to try something new? Who here can sometimes admit to being their own biggest hater? Who here has left many projects and aspirations on the back burner just because you feel like "it's not the right time" or "Nah it's too ambitious" or even the famous " it won't work". Newsflash, changes in life are not a cup of tea. Yes, sometimes the sentiment of change is an indescribably good feeling ex, moving out, traveling, and yes, by all means, positive change is great. But when it comes to trying new ambitious projects, it seems like we're not ready to truly embrace the motion of change.
In this episode, I delve into how one of the most spontaneous decisions in my life where I decided to just start something, changed me for the better.
If you feel like you need a little mental boost, I hope this episode gives you that !
