Are you being captured by the world’s ideas—or captivated by Jesus? In today’s message from Colossians 2:6–15, we walk through Paul’s warning against being taken captive by philosophy, empty deceit, human tradition, and spiritual forces that are “not according to Christ.”

Paul calls the church (and us) back to a Christ-centered biblical worldview: receive Christ Jesus as Lord, walk in Him, and be rooted, built up, and established in the faith, abounding in thanksgiving. We also celebrate the heart of the gospel—Jesus forgives our sin, cancels our spiritual debt, nails it to the cross, and triumphs over every ruler and authority.
